Arts for social changes – an initiative, that aims to foster the field of socially inclusive arts in Lithuania; it consists of practical forums, publications and interviews. Initiative by British Council and Laboratory for Urban games and research Laimikis.lt . In this post you will find a program of the forum that brings together artists and practitioners to share their methods and challenges that they face while cooperating with different groups of people.

Kovo 29 d. Nacionalinėje galerijoje vyks praktinis forumas “Menas socialiniams pokyčiams”. Subūrdamas įvairių sričių kūrėjus (scenos menai, vizualieji menai, bendruomeninis menas, t.t.), forumas yra vieta pasidalinti bendruomenių įtraukimo į kūrybinį procesą metodais bei iššūkiais, iškylančiais šiame lauke. Tai iniciatyvos, kurią organizuojame kartu su Britų Taryba, dalis. Plačiau – įraše.

Baltic Audience Links is a growing network of cultural innovators, active in the Baltic Sea region. To foster the interconnections between organisations the partnering hubs arrange meetings for practitioners to share the challenges and methods and establish new interconnections. This time the gathering will take place in Gdansk, May 17-20. The event focused on Urban Participation is hosted by the Baltic Sea Cultural Centre in Gdansk and River//Cities platform.

Nuo 2016 m. Laimikis.lt kartu su savo partneriais Intercult (Švedija) ir platforma River//Cities (EU) ėmė vystyti bendradarbiavimo tinklą, skirtą Baltijos jūros regiono kultūros organizacijoms, kurių veikla siekia įtraukiam miesto vystymui per kūrybines veiklas ir menines praktikas. Taip gimė Baltic Audience Links – iniciatyva, suburianti regiono kultūrines organizacijas dalintis iššūkiais ir metodais, skirtais įtraukiam viešųjų erdvių vystymui.

Baltic Audience Link is a network project that aims to develop and deepen the connections between organisations and actors that apply culture fostering participatory development and social innovations. Together with the partners Intercult (Sweden), River Cities (network), Laimikis co-organise meetings of the cultural innovators active in the Baltic Sea Region. On Feb 21-23, 2o17 the actors from the Baltic Sea Region are going to present their cases and toolbox one the special session at “Audience Links Xchange” event (conferences, round tables, discussions).

Laimikis.lt yra vienas iš šio tinklo operatorių, ir mūsų tikslas – užtikrinti aktyvius mainus ir sąveikas tarp Lietuvoje ir Latvijoje veikiančių organizacijų ir platesnio Baltijos jūros regiono organizacijų tinklo. Tam tikslui kartu su kolegomis mes organizuojame aktyvių kultūros inovatorių susitikimus Švedijoje, Lenkijoje ir Lietuvoje.

Street Komoda is a place for sharing: you can leave items, which you find on the streets and things you would like to share in Komoda. You can take any item you like from the Komoda. We have just come back from Trieste, were a conference “Cities and Urban Spaces: Chances for Cultural and Citizenship Education” took place. Our creative group presented a case of “Bubble the City” project there. Being inspired by the concepts, presented by urban activists and researchers at the conference, we post a short set of concepts here.
