Street Komoda | Gatvės Komoda
Autorius: Laimikis.lt
Street Komoda was launched in Vilnius in the middle of August 2012. Street Komoda is a place for sharing: you can leave items, which you find on the streets and things you would like to share in Komoda. You can take any item you like from the Komoda. You will find it at Gedimino 9, by the stairs/fountains. We hope you will enjoy the findings and treasures inside the Komoda! :)
This urban furniture was designed as a site-specific object, and it perfectly fits into the urban surrounding, becoming a part of everyday street scenography. It was decided to “camouflage” this urban furniture, recreating concrete texture from outside and to hide colorful graffiti inside. Developed urban camouflage works partly as a guarantee for longevity of the art-intervention. City camouflage also produces a “public secret” effect, which helps to build a temporal community of citizens, who enjoy sharing and exploring new items in Komoda.
Street Komoda is a result of “Lost, Found and Shared Items” workshop for students from Poland, Belarus and Spain (Ewa Ratyńska, Marta Poplawska, Eduardo Giménez-Cassina Bergareche, Lucyna Margańska, and Lina Novik) run by Jekaterina Lavrinec (Laimikis.lt) as a tutor. Komoda was designed in collaboration with street artists Darius and Andrius. Besides the object “Street Komoda”, there is a FB platform and a crowd map for posting objects, found on streets. Join!
Projektą įgyvendinome workshop’o “Lost’n’Found” (LitPro summer school “City. Language. Identity“) metu. Dirbtuvių komanda: Ewa Ratyńska, Marta Poplawska, Eduardo Giménez-Cassina Bergareche, Lucyna Margańska, and Lina Novik.

so good :)
galinga idėja, puikus įgyvendinimas ir sėkminga veikla!
įdėjau atvirukų, gavau gerą knygą, kurią vėliau grąžinsiu, kad pasiimčiau dar ką nors :-)
Jūs šaunuoliai! Puiki idėja puikiai įgyvendinta… gaila, kad mano mieste tokios komodos nėra… :)

Turbūt atradau šią Komodą vėliausiai iš visų, o kai pagaliau ją pamačiau, kvatojau. :D Gerai užslėpėte, praeidavau pro šalį, jos nematydama!
Įdėjau: tuščią foto albumą, sagę, porą žurnalų. ;)
Pasiskolinau: knygą “Hotel World”, seniai jos ieškojau, ir nenusivyliau, nepaprastai išdėstyta paprasta istorija paliko gilų įspūdį.
visus daiktus prisiminti nelengva.
