Visaginas: photowalk | foto-kelionė
Autorius: Laimikis.lt
Visaginas is the youngest city in Lithuania with amazing public spaces and cultural infrastructure built in the woods by the lake. After the atomic plant was closed the city is searching for a new identity, and our photo-walk aims to extract the elements and stories, that could become a part of possible trajectories of development. The materials of the photo-walk are going to be used for the workshop on visual identity of the city. Check hashtag #VisaginasCatch in Instagram and Photowalk: 9 short for Visaginas in facebook.
Savaitgalis Visagine.
This photo-walks is one of the methods in the toolbox for participatory development of the city’s identity, that we launch for the initiative “Visaginas: participatory approaches toward developing the identity of the city”, supported by Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Lithuania. This initiative is a part of cooperation between cultural organisations, universities, municipalities and ministries of the Baltic Sea Region.
