We can’t believe it: the fourth season of periodical urban event “Burbuliatorius” (“Bubble your City”) is about to start! The event aimed to revitalize deactivated public spaces and to encourage citizens to develop alternative scenarios of using public spaces. We invite everyone to join the event, which starts on May 28! You will find a list of participating cities (including London and Copenhagen) inside.

Gegužės 28 d. startuoja ketvirtasis “Burbuliatoriaus” sezonas! Iniciatyva buvo skirta viešųjų erdvių gaivinimui ir alternatyvių laisvalaikio scenarijų kūrimui. Iniciatyva tapo gera tradicija ne tik Lietuvos miestuose, bet ir užsienyje. Dalyvaujančių miestų sąrašą surasite įrašo apačioje, o taip pat FB event’e. Nepamirškite burbulų sau ir praeiviui!

Burbuliatorius” (Bubble your city) event has been gathering citizens from more than 12 European cities for the third year. This year new cities, Šilutė (LT), Trakai (LT), Edinburgh, Lisbon, and Copenhagen has joined, and we were happy to share the idea of periodic urban event with them! This event will be re-opened next summer.

Štai ir užsibaigė trečiasis “Burbuliatoriaus” sezonas, kuris kas antrą vasaros pirmadienį sutelkia daugiau nei 12 Europos miestų gyventojus. Mes siekiame atgaivinti viešąsias erdves siūlydami naujus naudojimosi tomis erdvėmis scenarijus ir paversdami šias erdves saulėtų emocijų vieta. “Burbuliatorius” atsisveikina iki kitos vasaros, o mes tęsiame kitus projektus :)

We are happy to note, that regular “Bubble the City” event has become a good tradition for familes and young people who meet in public places every second Monday just to chill, to picnic and to make some soap bubble :) We are happy, that Edinburgh has become, alongside with London, a constant participant of the event! And recently Dublin has joined us!

Džiugu, kad Burbuliatorius tapo tradicine šeimų ir draugų susitikimo vieta: pastebėjome, kad Vilniuje vis daugiau žmonių rengia piknikus, o Kaune tobulina vėjo pakavimo įrankius. Taip pat džiugu, kad Edinburgas, kaip ir Londonas, tapo nuolatiniu “Burbuliatoriaus” dalyviu! O neseniai prie mūsų prisijungė ir Dublinas!

Let’s bubble our cities on July 11, 2011 :) All you need is to bring soap bubble to the one of announced places and to bubble it! Don’t forget an extra-bottle of soap bubbles and a smile for a passer-by :) You will find a list of bubbling cities below; this time Sandnes (Norway) joins the event! :)

Su nauju burbulingu pirmadieniu! Šiandien, liepos 11 d., 18.30, Lietuvos miestuose, o taip pas Londone, Edinburge ir Sandnes mieste (Norvegija). Viskas ko reikia – atsinešti muilo burbulų sau ir praeiviams.

Bubble the City (Burbuliatorius) is a regular summer event, which takes place in different world cities at the same day, every second Monday. Kas antrą pirmadienį Lietuvos ir užsienio miestų gyventojai renkasi viešosiose erdvėse ir džiaugiasi vasara, muilo burbulais ir vieni kitais :) Viskas ko reikia, atsinešti muilo burbulų į vieną iš žemiau nurodytų vietų, o taip pat pasirūpinti muzikiniais instrumentais, skraidančiomis lėkštėmis (frisbee), skėčiais nuo saulės, fotoaparatais, ir įvairiais žaidimais. Kviečiame dalyvauti muzikantus ir žonglierius :)

Bubble the City (Burbuliatorius) is a regular summer event, which takes place in different world cities at the same day, every second Monday. The aim of the event is to revitalize deactivated public spaces in the cities and to encourage citizens to explore the potential of public spaces. This year Copenhagen, Svelvik, London and Aberdeen will join the event at May 30 (Monday), 18.3o (local times).

We invite you to the closing of the second season of Bubble the City event, which takes place in Lithuanian cities (listed below) and London. Coming Monday, 18.3o :)

This time, on August 30, 18.3o Lithuanian are going to bubble together with London (by Tower Bridge, 18.3o, London time) and Birmingham (Victoria square, 18.3o London time). In bubbling Vilnius we are waiting for the Mood Sellers Band’s appearance. Have a niсe summer/autumn party!

We have got sunny news from Michael Pretzsch, who took part in “Bubble the City” events in Vilnius and during his trip to Germany has arranged “Bubble the city” in his native town Neubrandenburg.

Lithuanian cities were lucky with the weather. We are happy to meet our friends and to see other cities bubbling on the squares and in parks :) Many thanks to ambassadors, who spread the news on the event in their cities and photographers, who shared the exiting episodes from “Bubble the City!” event. Next time we will meet on June 7, at 18.3o :)

Gerus orus išburiančių šamanų būgnai nepavedė ir šiais metais, tad stebuklai tęsiasi :) Buvo labai džiugu sutikti pažįstamus veidus ir jau paaugusius burbulų medžiotojus. Ačiū visiems ambasadoriams, skleidusiems žinią apie burbulų šventę savo miestuose: džiugu, kad ir pirmą kartą burbuliuojančiuose miestuose pavyko sukurti šventinę atmosferą!
