We have got sunny news from Michael Pretzsch, who took part in “Bubble the City” events in Vilnius and during his trip to Germany has arranged “Bubble the city” in his native town Neubrandenburg.

We are going to bubble our cities for 12 time! “Bubble the city!” event was initiated on summer 2009 and since that time more than 15 Lithuanian cities has participated in this event, which aims to reanimate public places by bringing citizens together for a joyful ritual of making soap bubble.

Šį svaitgališką pirmadienį (liepos 5 d.) pirmą kartą “burbuliuos” Prienai ir Kretinga. Visas dalyvaujančių miestų sąrašas įraše. Viskas ko reikia – muilo burbulai (prigriebkite ir praeiviui).

Lithuanian cities were lucky with the weather. We are happy to meet our friends and to see other cities bubbling on the squares and in parks :) Many thanks to ambassadors, who spread the news on the event in their cities and photographers, who shared the exiting episodes from “Bubble the City!” event. Next time we will meet on June 7, at 18.3o :)

Gerus orus išburiančių šamanų būgnai nepavedė ir šiais metais, tad stebuklai tęsiasi :) Buvo labai džiugu sutikti pažįstamus veidus ir jau paaugusius burbulų medžiotojus. Ačiū visiems ambasadoriams, skleidusiems žinią apie burbulų šventę savo miestuose: džiugu, kad ir pirmą kartą burbuliuojančiuose miestuose pavyko sukurti šventinę atmosferą!

A brand new “Bubble the City!” session starts in Lithuania! If you happen to be here, just bring a bottle of soap bubble to the place, listed in the post, and bubble them together with the other citizens. The idea of the event is to reanimate forgotten public places and bring citizens together for a playful activities, which turn every second Monday into the festive mood.

Bubble for Peace! On Monday 21, 18.3o we are going celebrate soap bubbles and the end of the season. This time Burbuliatorius becomes a part of International Day of Peace and participates in “Youth against Terror 2oo9″ actions.

What is interesting about this urban event, every time the participants of “Burbuliatorius” celebrate the sunny weather, no matter how rainy it was before the event.

Every second Monday “Bubble the city!” event takes place in Lithuanian cities. This time, on August 24, at 18.3o Eleven Lithuanian cities are going to be bubbled! Stuttgart, Chicago, Barcelona join us!
