gaus iki 10 porų “Converse” sukurti pirmai kolekcijai! Taisyklės paprastos:
1) iki 2008 rugsėjo 1 d. siunčiate savo sukurtų sportbačių dizaino nuotraukas adresu diy@pigu.lt. Svarbu: tai turi būti jau sukurti DIY batai, o ne eskizai. Jei dar nesate tokių sukūrę, batus galima gauti čia, čia & čia arba kur jums patogiau :)
2) rugsėjo pradžioje organizatoriai susisiekia su konkurso nugalėtoju, įteikia honorarą, pasirašo sutartį dėl pirmosios kolekcijos kūrimo ir įteikia iki 10 porų “Converse” pirmai kolekcijai sukurti!
3) tavo sukurta unikali batų kolekcija pasirodo Pigu.lt …

We continue “Linking things” seria,
representing unique things, their creators and the passers-by
who were lucky to get one of the things from creator’s collection.
This time we introduce
Darja from Klaipeda, her colourful bracelets
and passers-by (Eglė and Karina), who got some of these diy things.
Darja has been creating bracelets for about 3 years,
she listens to ska, russian rock and classic rock, plays guitar;
recent events: “Blues Nights” (Lithuania) and “Metal Show” festival (Latvia).

to Dovilė (left), who was met at Cathedral sq.

Dovilė’s places are:

This time a thing, which was presented
to a lucky passer-by Rimvydas was Moytoy “Birth” postcard set.
It was created by various artists from Taiwan, Argentina, Israel,
Sudan/Brazil, Lithuania, Venezuela, UK and other countries.

It’s one of collaborative projects, inspired by Moytoy.

Rimvydas was met at Gediminas ave;
His transport is unike (unicycle);
His book is “The Dice Man” by Luke Rhinehart;
He attends “Anti” cinema laboratory at Teachers’ House;
His music is: indie rock, at the moment we have stopped him,
he was listening to “the Libertines“.

We continue “Linking thing” project, representing a story
of the second kiwi ear-ring, made by Rūta from Kaunas.
The person, who has got this DIY ear-ring is Dajana from Vilnius.
Shortly after we met on the street, Dajana invited us to play cards! :D
Plėtodami “Keliaujančių daikčiukų” sumanymą,
pristatome dar vieno auskaro-kivainio istoriją. Jo kūrėja -
Rūta iš Kauno, kuri studijuoja biologiją, o laisvalaikiu kuria
daikčiukus iš veltinio ir spalvoto molio. Kivis atiteko Dajanai iš Vilniaus:
tą dieną vienas iš jos auskarų nulūžo, todėl naujas auskaras pasirodė pačiu laiku.

One of them is caught for the 3rd time
(and every time her hair is of different colour!);

Gabrielės have been going to the same kindergarten,
now both are fond of making DIY things. The recent
idea of one of them is to sew a corset, and her boyfriend
Regimantas doesn’t mind (and even enjoys the idea:).

With a help of DIY creators, we’ve started a “Linking thing” subproject, inviting designers to pass some crafts from their collections to passers-by, whom we meet and photo on the streets. Those things get their small (hi)stories and link strangers:) The very first person who has taken part in the project is Rūta from Kaunas and Šarūnas from Vilnius who has got a gidt from Rūta :)
